What PowerShare is
PowerShare is a Tesla feature that lets a PowerShare-capable vehicle such as Cybertruck send power from its battery to your home during an outage.
What gets installed
Tesla home backup equipment and a compatible Tesla Wall Connector are wired into your home’s electrical system by a licensed electrical contractor. The exact equipment depends on the home and whether a Powerwall is present.
PowerShare with Powerwall
PowerShare and Powerwall work together, with the vehicle extending how long the home stays powered.
Is my home ready?
We evaluate panel capacity, service size, and where the charger and backup equipment will go.
