Where to Take a Tesla Demo Drive in the Rio Grande Valley

Short answer: Tesla lists the RGV Solar showroom at 2575 E Griffin Pkwy in Mission as a self-serve demo drive location. You schedule on Tesla's website, come to the showroom, and take the drive.
How to schedule
- Go to Tesla's demo drive page at tesla.com/drive.
- Enter your address and choose RGV Solar from the list of locations.
- Pick a date and time.
All scheduling is handled by Tesla.
What self-serve means
Tesla describes a self-serve drive as a demo drive without Tesla staff on site. When you book, Tesla tells you what to expect and how to operate the vehicle.
What you should know before you come
- The vehicles at our showroom are for demo drives only. They are not for sale here, and vehicle orders are placed with Tesla.
- RGV Solar is an independent company. We are a Tesla Powerwall Certified Installer and a licensed Texas electrical contractor, TECL #37418.
- You do not need to own solar or a Tesla to book a drive.

If you are thinking about an electric vehicle, this is the useful part of the visit. Charging at home needs a properly sized circuit and sometimes a panel upgrade. Some Tesla vehicles can also power a home during an outage with the right equipment. We can show you the hardware and tell you what your home would need.
